Description

L-778123 is a dual inhibitor of farnesyltransferase (FPTase) and geranylgeranyltransferase-I (GGPTase-I), effectively blocking Ki-Ras prenylation. It has demonstrated radiosensitizing properties in patient-derived pancreatic cancer cell lines and, combined with radiotherapy, showed acceptable toxicity in clinical trials for locally advanced pancreatic cancer.
