Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  K-111 treatment (chronic doses: 1, 3 and 10 mg/kg/d per 3 doses for 4 weeks) resulted in significant weight loss, improvement in hyperinsulinemia, insulin sensitivity, hypertriglyceridemia, and HDL cholesterol levels, and no significant effects on fasting glucose, 24-hour urinary excretion, systolic or diastolic blood pressure, plasma fibrinogen, total cholesterol, or chemical and hematological profile significant effect.
