Isopropyl ferulate is a bioactive compound from Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii (Qianghuo) that exerts strong cytotoxic effects against PANC-1 human pancreatic cancer cells with a PC50 of 17.5 μg/mL, mechanistic analysis of Isopropyl ferulate via network pharmacology implicates Isopropyl ferulate regulate PI3K/Akt/mTOR, ErbB, and IL-17 pathways. Further validated in IMQ-induced and LPS-stimulated model systems, confirmed its significant modulation of PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling, supporting the relevance of Isopropyl ferulate in cancer therapeutics.
