IETDC

SKU: orb3210631

Description

IETDC is a caspase 8 probe substrate. Upon activation, caspase 8 cleaves IETDC, releasing D-cysteine. The released D-cysteine can bind with HCBT to form luciferin in situ, which, along with H2O2-mediated release of 6-hydroxy-2-cyanobenzothiazole, produces a bioluminescent signal. IETDC is applicable in studies related to acute inflammation.
