• Biological Activity: The biological activity was determined by measuring the dose dependent mobilization of intracellular calcium (calcium flux) with human neutrophils. Significant calcium mobilization is observed with 100ng/mL (corresponding to a Specific Activity of 10,000IU/mg) of recombinant human ENA-78.
• Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
• Protein Sequence: The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be, Ala- Ala -Val-Leu-Arg

Storage & Handling

• Storage: Stability: Lyophilized ENA78 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CXCL5 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles
