Description

This tetrapeptide features the RGD motif, a key recognition sequence for adhesion proteins. It inhibits fibrinogen binding to endothelial cells and platelets in vitro (IC50 = 320 and 35 μM, respectively) and has been shown to enhance bone formation in rat femur implantation models.
