It serves as a scaffold, facilitating the design of tissue analogs ranging from the vascular system to cartilage and bone, thus promoting cell proliferation and diffusion. In contrast, GelMA, 60% methacrylation with green fluorescence, requires LAP as a photoinitiator to self-assemble into fibrous hydrogels and target bioactive adhesion sites, providing inherent support to tissue cells and promoting biodegradability.
