Description

Ferroptosis-IN-23 is an inhibitor of ferroptosis (Ferroptosis) that acts synergistically by simultaneously activating Steap4 and glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) to maintain iron metabolism homeostasis. It can reverse neuronal ferroptosis and suppress lipid ROS accumulation in cells. Ferroptosis-IN-23 inhibits ferroptosis in zebrafish, alleviating neuronal apoptosis, ROS accumulation, and dopaminergic neuron damage in a zebrafish model of Parkinson's disease. It is applicable for research into Parkinson's disease.
