Description

FabI-IN-1 is an inhibitor of FabI (enoyl-acyl carrier protein reductase) with a Ki of 0.32 μM for E. coli FabI. It exhibits inhibitory activity against Gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli (MIC = 6.25 μM) and Klebsiella pneumoniae. FabI-IN-1 can protect Galleria mellonella larvae from lethal Escherichia coli infection and acts synergistically with Colistin against Escherichia coli. It is useful for research on Gram-negative bacterial infections.
