ERβagonist-2 (Page 72) is a selective ERβ agonist with an EC50 of 800 nM or less. This compound specifically inhibits the activation and/or proliferation of T cells, thereby reducing circulating T cell levels in subjects, without significantly affecting levels of circulating neutrophils, monocytes, or B cells. ERβagonist-2 is applicable in research on chronic heart failure post-myocardial infarction, graft-versus-host disease, multiple sclerosis, and experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis.
