EGFR-IN-79 is a small molecule EGFR inhibitor that induces antitumor activity via ROS-independent apoptosis and EGFR/AKT/mTOR-mediated autophagy. It effectively kills cells in both proliferating and quiescent regions of EJ28 spheroids in vitro and has shown a favorable safety profile in zebrafish in vivo models.
