EAPB-0503 is an imidazoquinoxaline analog of Imiquimod that selectively downregulates HDM2 and activates p53 in NPM1c-expressing cells, leading to apoptosis. This mechanism supports its investigation in vitro and in vivo for cancers driven by NPM1 mutations, such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
