DSPE-PEG(2000)-mannose is a functionalized lipid used to construct targeted liposomes and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for drug and nucleic acid delivery. Fluorescent LNPs incorporating this ligand show preferential accumulation in murine liver and spleen. It has been applied in vaccine research, such as delivering HPV16 E7 peptides with CpG adjuvant to elicit anti-tumor immune responses in mouse models.
