Description

D-Kyotorphin showed higher analgesic activity in rats than kyotorphin (G-2450), though the analgesic actions of these diastereomeric dipeptides probably resulted from different mechanisms. Contrary to G-2450, only minimal modulation of the Na/Cl dependant opioid peptide transporter was effected by this analog.
