  Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000.Western Blot:Approx. 38kDa band observed in Rat Brain and Human Testis lysates.(calculated MW of 51.4kDa according to Rat XP_006252156.1) The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings with different antibodies from other commercial sources and the literature (Miyata et al, PMID: 11560857). The 38kDa band is thought to correspond to the alpha chain of APOJ. Recommended concentration: 0.1-1µg/mL. An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 28kDa in Rat Brain. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.Immunofluorescence: Strong expression of the protein seen in the cytoplasm of HeLa cells. Recommended concentration: 10µg/mL.
