Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  In eighty male C57BL/6 mice (20-24 g, 8-10 weeks old), Cipepofol (100 μl; administered into the abdomen of mice 1 hour before ISO injection) was able to attenuate the increase in serum CK-MB, LDH, and cTnT levels induced by ISO (100 mg/kg; subcutaneous injection; for 2 consecutive days) to create experimental myocardial infarction. Additionally, Cipepofol significantly improved ISO-induced left ventricular systolic and diastolic dysfunction.
• In Vitro:
  Cipepofol (5 μM; administered before ISO injury; for 6 hours) can attenuate ISO-induced apoptosis in cultured cardiomyocytes in vitro.
