Bioactivity

• In Vitro:
  The proliferation and cell viability of all cell lines were inhibited by treatment with 5 μM BIA.The IC50 values at 3 days were 1.7 ± 0.1 μM for HT1080, 2.6 ± 0.4 μM for MCF cells, 2.6 ± 0.5 μM for MDA-MB-231 cells, and 2.4 ± 0.4 μM for SKBR3 cells. Moreover, HT1080 cells stably overexpressing TMBIM6 showed high sensitivity to BIA.BIA decreases the binding between TMBIM6 and mTORC2, we performed a gel filtration assay in TMBIM6-overexpressing HT1080 cells after treatment with BIA during 24 h.
