BRD4 Inhibitor-40 (Compound 23) is a pan-BRD inhibitor targeting BRD4 and BRD2 bromodomains. It modulates c-Myc and p21, induces G1 cell cycle arrest, and inhibits renal cystic epithelial cell growth in vitro. The compound has also demonstrated efficacy in preventing cyst formation in multiple in vivo kidney disease models.
