Description

BLP-3 is an alpha-helical antimicrobial peptide isolated from Xenopus laevis skin. It demonstrates in vitro antibacterial activity against Neisseria species, including N. meningitidis and N. gonorrhoeae, at 20 µg/ml by disrupting bacterial membrane integrity. This peptide is a useful research tool for studying novel anti-infective mechanisms.
