• In Vivo:
  Animal model: 70% ethanol-induced gastric ulcers in rats. Dosage: 5 and 10 mg/kg. Administration: p.o. Result: Inhibited gastric ulcer formation and the necrotic erosion of gastric mucosa. Downregulated the MMP-2/9 expression by activating the TIMP-2 and TIMP-1 expressions.
