Antiviral agent 35 (compound 4d) is a potent, orally bioavailable early-stage influenza virus inhibitor. It demonstrates in vitro anti-H1N1 activity (EC50 = 2.28 µM) with low cytotoxicity (CC50 > 800 µM in MDCK cells) and suppresses virus-induced ROS, autophagy, apoptosis, and RIG-I-mediated inflammation in a murine lung infection model.
