Antiestrogenic agent-1, an organic phosphorus 13α-estrone derivative, functions as an antiestrogen by disrupting estrogen (estrogen) signaling pathways through inhibition of estrogen-mediated transcriptional activity. It hinders the proliferation, migration, and invasion of cancer cells while inducing G1 phase arrest. Antiestrogenic agent-1 mitigates estrogen-induced uterine hyperplasia in immature rats and suppresses tumor growth in mouse models of triple-negative breast cancer. It is applicable in cancer and endocrinology research, including studies on breast cancer and oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
