8-bromo NAD+ sodium

SKU: orb2276832

Description

8-Bromo NAD+ is a prodrug converted by CD38 into the active cADPR antagonist 8-bromo cADPR. It inhibits fMLP-induced calcium mobilization and chemotaxis in neutrophils (1 mM) and, at 100 µM, suppresses LPS-triggered nitrite production and cytokine secretion in microglial cells, useful for studying calcium signaling and inflammation in vitro.
