Bioactivity

• In Vitro:
  b>METHODS: Human NCI-H460 lung cancer cells were treated with 7β-Hydroxycholesterol (10, 20 and 30 μM for 14 days) and subjected to a clonogenic survival assay. RESULTS: 7β-Hydroxycholesterol inhibited the clonogenic survival of NCI-H460 cells in a dose-dependent manner, with survival rates of 102%, 75%, 35% and 12% at concentrations of 5, 10, 20 and 30 μM, respectively.
