4-O-Methyl-ascochlorin

SKU: orb3179787

Description

4-O-Methyl-ascochlorin (Compound MAC) is a derivative of Ascochlorin that selectively induces apoptosis and G1 phase arrest in K562 leukemia cells while downregulating c-Myc expression. It enhances the phosphorylation of AMPK and inhibits the phosphorylation of mTOR and its target proteins [including p70S6 K and 4E-BP-1]. 4-O-Methyl-ascochlorin is useful for leukemia research.
