SKU: orb2564449

Description

3-SucCA (3-Succinylated cholic acid) is a microbially derived, lumen-restricted bile acid metabolite. Research indicates it ameliorates MAFLD/MASH progression in murine models by modulating gut microbiota, particularly increasing Akkermansia muciniphila, and is found at reduced levels in human MAFLD patients. This compound is utilized in metabolic and microbiome research involving both in vivo and in vitro experimental systems.
