Description

SYBR Green dye exhibits an 800- to 1000-fold fluorescence enhancement upon binding to dsDNA. Included in excess within the reaction mix, the dye intercalates specifically into double-stranded DNA during amplification, greatly boosting signal intensity. Because unbound dye emits negligible fluorescence, the increase in signal is tightly synchronized with the exponential accumulation of PCR amplicons. Signal acquisition can be performed during either the annealing or extension phase.

• Application Notes:
  20×SYBR Green Dye concentrated solution, when used, the concentrated solution can be diluted 20-100 times, so that the final concentration of SYBR Green Dye in the PCR reaction system is 0.5× (adjusted between 0.2× and 1×). For example, to prepare a PCR reaction solution with a total volume of 50 μl, 0.5-2.5 μl of 20×SYBR Green Dye concentrate
