2’-O-Methylguanosine-5’-O-triphosphate (2’-methyl GTP) is a metabolite of the prodrug IDX184 and acts as an HCV NS5B inhibitor (IC50=3.5 µM). It also induces tubulin polymerization at 50 µM and has been found at reduced levels in hepatocellular carcinoma tumor tissues compared to adjacent normal tissue.
