Immunogen | This antibody was generated by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 173-188 SRRGIRYRTIDEHDAIof human Porimin; GenBank no. AAG2164.1. This sequence is 100% conserved in cow, and 93% conserved in rat, mouse, and chicken. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Elephant, Rabbit (100%); Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Horse, Chicken (94%). |
Tested applications | IHC, IHC-P, WB |
Dilution range | IHC, IHC-P (5 µg/ml), WB (1 - 3 µg/ml) |
Application notes | Further information: Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2072 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2072 was determined to be 5 ug/ml. |
Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
