Description

Sinefungin is a potent inhibitor of viral mRNA methyltransferases and the histone methyltransferase SET7/9. It suppresses viral replication in vitro and has been shown in vivo to ameliorate renal fibrosis by reducing histone H3K4 methylation. This makes it a valuable tool for epigenetics and virology research.
