Bioactivity

• In Vitro:
  Tocainide hydrochloride effectively suppresses ventricular ectopic activity in unanesthetized dogs with coronary occlusion. Termination of tocainide hydrochloride infusion in both digitalis toxicity and coronary occlusion models results in prompt return of ventricular ectopic activity.
