SRA880 is a selective, non-peptide antagonist of the somatostatin sst1 receptor with lower affinity for other sst subtypes and some binding to dopamine D4 receptors. It enhances endogenous SRIF release and demonstrates synergistic antidepressant-like activity with imipramine in vivo, supporting its use in neuropsychiatric research.
