Bioactivity

• In Vitro:
  Radezolid consistently demonstrates superior potency to linezolid across all tested bacteria, maintaining this advantage regardless of the bacterium's sensitivity, when the concentration measurements are standardized to weight (mg/L). This is evidenced by Radezolid's MIC values, which are always equal to or lower than those of linezolid—by up to 3 log2 dilutions—for strains susceptible to linezolid, and exhibit an 8-fold potency increase against linezolid-resistant strains. Additionally, Radezolid, alongside TR-700, is effective against mutants with 3-copy alterations at G2447T, G2576T, and G2576T/T2571C positions .
