Bioactivity

• In Vivo:
  In F3II cell (s.c.) mammary tumor mice models, racotumomab (50 μg/dose, i.p.) together with Keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) inhibits tumor growth. Against lung nodules in 3LL cell (s.c.) mice xenograft, racotumomab (50 μg/dose, s.c.) together with Pemetrexed (100 mg/kg) is highly effective. However, in 3LL cell (s.c.) mice xenograft, racotumomab (50-200 μg/dose, s.c.) shows no significant antitumor effect.
• In Vitro:
  Inducing a specific humoral and cellular immune response against the NeuGcGM3 ganglioside present in tumor cells, racotumomab stimulates cell death.
