Description

N-Boc-Biocytin is a biotin PEG linker that incorporates both a carboxyl group and a Boc-protected amine. The carboxyl group reacts with a primary amine (-NH2) to form a stable, irreversible amide bond. The Boc group can be removed under acidic conditions to yield a free amine suitable for further conjugation.
