MWAC-3429 is a potent inhibitor of the SARS-CoV-2 Nsp13 helicase. It demonstrates inhibitory effects on SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV-1 with EC50 values of 5.39 μM (nLuc assay) and 17.00 μM (CPE assay), respectively. The compound also displays low cytotoxicity in A549-hACE2 cells (CC50 > 50 μM). MWAC-3429 is useful for research on SARS-CoV infections.
