Description

m-PEG-OH (MW 20000) can serve as a macromolecular initiator and participate in the synthesis of amphiphilic block copolymers. These copolymers can be used to prepare nanoscale micelles for delivering active drugs. The micelles encapsulate the hydrophobic anticancer agent Paclitaxel , enhancing its ability to kill cancer cells compared to free Paclitaxel. Additionally, the micelles preferentially accumulate in tumor tissues while showing limited distribution in healthy organs.
