Description

Fumonisin B1-13C34 is an isotopically labeled derivative of Fumonisin B1, containing 13C. Fumonisin B1, produced by the fungus Fusarium moniliforme, is a potent inhibitor of sphingosine N-acyltransferase (ceramide synthase), interfering with de novo sphingolipid biosynthesis. It is the most prevalent and toxic fumonisin.
