Epoxyquinomicin B is an antibiotic isolated from Amycolatopsissp. It exhibits inhibitory activity against Micrococcus luteus, Bacillus subtilis, Pasteurella piscicida, and Staphylococcus aureus, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 6.25-12.5 µg/mL. It also shows cytotoxicity in cancer cells L1210, with an IC50 of 16.3 µg/mL. Additionally, Epoxyquinomicin B demonstrates anti-inflammatory effects on collagen-induced arthritis.
