(E)-Ferulic acid-d3

SKU: orb3138726

Description

(E)-Ferulic acid-d3 is the deuterated form of (E)-Ferulic acid, an isomer of Ferulic acid, which is an aromatic compound abundant in plant cell walls. This compound induces the phosphorylation of β-catenin, leading to proteasomal degradation, and modulates apoptotic factors by increasing pro-apoptotic Bax expression while decreasing pro-survival proteins. Additionally, (E)-Ferulic acid effectively scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inhibits lipid peroxidation. In the human lung cancer cell line H1299, it exhibits anti-proliferative and anti-migratory effects.
