Bioactivity

• In Vitro:
  Colistin methanesulfonate is less bactericidal than colistin at the same multiples of the MIC. Colistin and colistin methanesulfonate are both unequal mixtures of the salts of two components, colistins A and B (1), which may well have different in vitro activities.
