  Bufexamac is a specific inhibitor of class IIB histone deacetylases (HDAC6 and HDAC10). Treatment of peripheral blood mononuclear cells with bufexamac inhibits the secretion of IFN-α. Bufexamac is a frequent and relevant contact sensitizer. Bufexamac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.
