Breastcancertargeting peptide 18-4 is a keratin 1 (KRT1)-binding peptide (Kd=0.98 µM) derived from P160. Its sequence is WxEAAYQrFL. When conjugated to the anticancer peptide MccJ25, it enhances cellular uptake and potency, showing IC50 values of 14.2-25 µM against breast cancer cell lines including multidrug-resistant models in vitro.
