Description

This kit is used in immunoblotting experiments to detect proteins by chemiluminescence. The principle is to use horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled antibodies to directly or indirectly bind to the target protein on the membrane. After washing the membrane, add the ECL working solution prepared in this kit, and HRP will catalyze the fluorescence. The minimum detection limit of this product for antigens can reach mid-femtogram level. In western blot experiments, the primary antibody (1 mg/mL) stock solution can be diluted 1:1,000 to 1:50,000 times, and the secondary antibody (1 mg/mL) stock solution can be diluted 1:50,000 to 1:200,000 times. The luminescent signal is long-lasting, and the results can be detected by X-ray film exposure or other appropriate fluorescent imaging equipment.
