Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgG, Rat IgG F(c) and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rat IgG F(ab) or Bovine, Horse, Human Serum Proteins.

• Application notes: F(ab')2 Anti-Rat IgG F(c) Peroxidase Antibody has been tested by ELISA and is assayed against 1.0 ug of Rat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using ABTS (2,2’-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) code # ABTS-100 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:20,000 to 1:200,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product for ELISA and Western blots and a 1:500 to 1:5,000 for immunohistochemistry on tissue sections.

ELISA results of purified F(ab')2 Goat anti-Rat IgG F(c) antibody Peroxidase Conjugated Min x Bv, Hs, & Hu serum proteins tested against purified Rat IgG F(c). Each well was coated in duplicate with 1.0 µg of Rat IgG F(c) (p/n orb346338). The starting dilution of antibody was 5 µg/ml and the X-axis represents the Log10 of a 3-fold dilution. This titration is a 4-parameter curve fit where the IC50 is defined as the titer of the antibody. Assay performed using 3% fish gelatin as blocking buffer and TMB substrate p/n orb348651.
