Category | Antibodies |
Description | TNF Antibody |
Species/Host | Mouse |
Clonality | Monoclonal |
Clone Number | 2.1_4E10-1H11 |
Tested applications | ELISA, NeA, WB |
Reactivity | Human |
Immunogen | The monoclonal antibody was produced in BALB/c X ICR F1 mice using recombinant hTNF-alpha as the immunizing antigen. |
Concentration | batch dependent |
Dilution range | Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hTNF-α (0.5 ng/mL), a concentration of ELISA:In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/mL of this antibody will detect at least 1000 pg/mL of recombinant human TNF-α when used with our biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human TNF-α (XP-5282Bt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1.0 μg/mL.Western blot:To detect hTNF-α by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.5-1.0 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hTNF-α is 0.5-1.0 ng/lane, under reducing conditions and 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions. |
Form/Appearance | Lyophilized |
Conjugation | Unconjugated |
Target | TNF |
UniProt ID | P01375 |
NCBI | P01375 |
Storage | TNF-α lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4°C when reconstituted. |

Expiration Date | 12 months from date of receipt. |
This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human breast invasive ductal carcinoma. The recommended concentrations are 15.0-20.0 ug/ml overnight at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with DAB Chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary.
