Description

The HiScript II One Step RT-PCR Kit (Dye Plus) is designed for end-point PCR detection with RNA as the template (e.g., RNA virus). The PCR product can be directly loaded onto agarose gels for electrophoresis, greatly simplifying the operation process. It contains gene-specific primers (GSPs) and allows for both reverse transcription and PCR reaction in the same tube, with no need for additional tubes/pipetting. It is thus suitable for high-throughput detection with low risk of contamination. The kit, paired with an optimized buffer system, integrates high-performance HiScript II Reverse Transcriptase and Champagne Taq Plus DNA Polymerase to achieve high-sensitivity detection from 1 pg of total RNA and amplification of fragments up to 10 kb. The kit is provided as an easy-to-use Master Mix. The 2× One Step Mix (Dye Plus) contains an optimized buffer, dNTPs, and a dye. The One Step Enzyme Mix contains optimized proportions of HiScript II Reverse Transcriptase, RNase inhibitor, and Champagne Taq Plus DNA Polymerase.
