• Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Trk B and is also known as GP145-TrkB whose expression can be detected in the hippocampus and kidney but it is highly expressive in the spinal cord and choroid plexus. It is found in the early endosome membrane. This protein plays an extensive role in learning and memory by regulating both short term synaptic function and long-term potentiation and also in neutrophin-dependent calcium signaling in glial cells and mediates communication between neurons and glia. It is also helpful in ATP binding and neutrophin binding.
