• Description: GRO-Beta Rat Recombinant also caled Rat MIP-2 produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 73 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7923 Dalton. The GRO-b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

• Biological Activity: The biological activity was determined by measuring the dose dependent mobilization of intracellular calcium (calcium flux) with human neutrophils. Significant calcium mobilization is observed with > 100 ng/mL of recombinant rat MIP-2. The optimal concentration for each specific application should be determined by an initial dose-response assay.
• Solubility (25°C): It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized GRO-beta Rat in sterile H₂O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
• Storage: Store at 4°C for up to two weeks. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
