DescriptionRecombinant human TNF protein is produced by our E. coli using rDNA technology. The protein consists of three identical polypeptide chains of 158 amino acids combined to form a compact bell-shaped homotrimer. The individual subunits have a relative molecular mass of 17484 Daltons each. TNF-alpha is a potent lymphoid factor that exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells and certain other target cells.

Application notesAlways centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 1X PBS. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
Expiration Date6 months from date of receipt.
